what the hell... the US army has enough training, you never been in it, how would you know what its like? ppl like gunslinger put their ass on the line so they can show others what its like to have a democracy, but no, the fucking insurgancy must fuck up everything.RicardoBlanco wrote:
So this guy fighting in Iraq is helping me how? I wasn't aware Iraq was planning to take over the world! I also had plenty of 'freedom' to write anything I liked before the US decided to invade Iraq, thankyou.Dynasty(KIP) wrote:
Jackass of the day goes to....Ricardo! All I can say is thank you for your service and the service of your family. It's people like you who allow people like Ricardo here to make idiots of themselves. America is proud of your service warum.
You join the army to fight enemies who are armed with guns, chances are you're going to get shot at. Solution: Get another job or stop moaning about seeing the destruction you and your buddies are inflicting. Shit, I'd be pretty disturbed looking at the mangled remains of someone I'd shot with an automatic rifle so I didn't join the army...seems pretty fucking obvious to me!Training, something you US boys appear to lack, or alternatively don't start so many, works for plenty of other countries.warum wrote:

The reason I responded as I did, is because usually when someone tries to ask a question of military significance, someone always has to ask "how does it feel to be part of a murderous military who likes killing babies?" or things of that nature.
Sorry but where I come from the army is considered a last resort as far as career choices go, unless you're in officer training, which I doubt you are..GunSlinger OIF II wrote:

Mhmm, last career choice? Maybe for some, but most people join to make a mature version of themselves, then, when their term is over, they either sign up again, (if you can...Don't know much) or get a civilian job. The army / marines makes you grow up pretty fucking fast. And it shows, that you indeed have not even considered joining, Ricardo.RicardoBlanco wrote:

If i was to join the RAF or become an officer would be a pussy?
Ricardo, you're quite frankly an ass. Apparently you must be from the UPPER CRUST as for the rest of us how can we ever live up to your standards. "Last Resort", fucking idiot.

I tried my hardest to get offended by your statement Richard White. sorry. mission failed. But I didnt join the army to have a 20 year career and then retire saying hi to customers at walmart. You could say Im grooming myself for future Gov't service, Im only 23, I gotta long ride till I finally get to where Im going and the Army was just the begining, but I wouldnt expect whiny pussies to understand. Off to school...

Yeah, been to school and did pretty well, better than you by the sounds of it. Well...sorry Garry Owen, among my peer group joining the army IS considered the last option. You can imply available options in high command, even the secret services, all you like but chances are you WILL end up in Walmart, with some sort of traumatic disorder to boot..
sounds like someones mommy is paying for school
Thanks for the service.
I come from a family of military folks, but didn't join myself. My sister was in Iraq for this latest round though, her 3rd tour in the middle east, and I make sure I thank her for being better than me any chance I get. It sucks on this end too, as I hate worrying about her and others, especially since I disagree with Mr Bush on this one moreso than other times my family members have been in the line of fire. I hate it, but I'm proud of her for having that strength of character.
I hope you find some amount of peace to help you live with what you've seen and had to do. I know that most people/family that served in times of war don't like to talk about it, and although I respect that decision, I wonder how much it eats at them. My father spent several months in a Korean POW camp (paratrooper, shot down at low altitude), and I've barely heard him mention it in my 30 years.
Oh, Ricardo....I can only assume you're a kid, as most folks learn a bit more respect for even a stranger. STFU please, and stick to threads where you can have a positive, or at least constructive comment. If you just want to attempt to be witty, please log off and spare the rest of us you bullshit.

is your sis hot and single?
the single parts negotiable
the single parts negotiable
Not single, and her husband is a bear of a guy. Former military (never call a military person an ex-marine etc...they hate that), current police/SWAT.
She's a spitfire. A tiny little thing, but a helluva markswoman. She actually looks a lot like pic3 in whatever thread that was about army girls. I actually did a double take, laughed, and sent her the pic.

The fact that they killed some of your friends doesn't mean they weren't someone else's friends, sons, brothers, husbands, fathers...............
