I don't know how many of you have relatives who have fought in a war but it is really hard for them to talk about it.I now understand why.First of all a little history about me and my family. My great grandfather fought in world war 1 but un fortunately he died at beaumont hamel. My grand father fought in world war 2 but luckily he survived. My father was in the military but never went to war.I served in Iraq. It was one of the worst things i've ever gone through.I lost a lot of buddies and saw a lot of atrocities from both sides.I still have nightmares but i've been told that they never go away.I got back about six months ago but i don't think i will ever be able to tell anyone what happened. Not even the guys who served with me talk about what happened. We talk about all the good times, the few we had,but never about the bad stuff. So now i understand why my grandfather couldn't talk about the war, but he always tells me about all the trouble he got into while in england. My grandfather was a ladies man and i'am sure i have some relatives in england.haha. Anyway i'am writing this because i think people need to hear about the people who fight these wars so they are more informed when they post to war threads.
Have you ever wondered what is the major cause of war during your service time ?
Thank you for service. Hooah.
War IS hell.
Thanks for your service.

Preety sure he was trying not to get killed, while you were siting here figuring out who to blame for war. Evil white republicans who believe in God, obviously.alpinestar wrote:

Hey guys when i posted this i didn't think i would get such good feedback.I have seen people get flamed a lot in these forums so i was hesitant in posting but i'am glad i did.Its people like you who support the troops in iraq who make a difference. Ricardo how does one prepare for war. Do you go on a killing spree, maybe skin a few people so that you get used to the sight a persons entrails on the ground. No you don't you dumb piece of shit so unless you something constructive to say don't say anything at all.For those that gave me karma i would repricate but i don't have enough to give you any.

Ricardo you should probably go play in traffic while you were home masturbating to anime this guy was out doin what he had to do to survive. Dont ever talk like that to one of our service men or women they have been through more than you will every be able to understand. And you havent earned the right to even comment on what goes on.

Wow, I'm touched. I've never received so many love points from a flame before.
Oh wow I just asked him a question politely, and you pop out of no where like a well groomed troll thinking you will get a cookie for what you said. Im sure he can answer the question by him self without any shoe shine that tries to get some attention out of his basement apartment.Erkut.hv wrote:

So this guy fighting in Iraq is helping me how? I wasn't aware Iraq was planning to take over the world! I also had plenty of 'freedom' to write anything I liked before the US decided to invade Iraq, thankyou.Dynasty(KIP) wrote:

You join the army to fight enemies who are armed with guns, chances are you're going to get shot at. Solution: Get another job or stop moaning about seeing the destruction you and your buddies are inflicting. Shit, I'd be pretty disturbed looking at the mangled remains of someone I'd shot with an automatic rifle so I didn't join the army...seems pretty fucking obvious to me!
Training, something you US boys appear to lack, or alternatively don't start so many, works for plenty of other countries.warum wrote:
