More civilians are dying at the hands of the insurgents and their car bombs and suicide bombs than are killed by the US military. Also, no other country in the world spends as much money than the US developing "smart" weapon technology, to try and avoid civilian deaths as much as possible. I would probably guess the majority of civilians killed in this war are from legit targets using civilians as a shield.

Regarding the flag burning: the 90% are US and Israeli flags.... and basically, there are European countries better qualified than the US in representing western ideals.... strange though, that their flags do not get burnt. Face it.... this whole thing is not about muslims attacking western ideals... it is about middle east attacking US foreign, economic and imperialistic policy. I actually resent seeing the US as an exponent of western ideal and culture.

As for your involvement in world affairs, it is the way you choose to interfere that pisses people off, not the fact that you do. All countries interfere, primarily through the UN - a constitution which the US have mocked several times.
