ok so i bought SF and installed it...then i patched it to the full 1.3 (not incremental)..anyways the games starts up fine...and btw for u noobs that have thlightning error..u ahve to path SF to 1.3 again for it to work....anyways back to my problem.....well SF starts up fine..i log in.and i find servers..but when I click to join one..nothing happens..u get that short liek 1 second lag time u normally have when u connect but hten it just goes back to the servers screen....it doesn't actually connect...any suggestions?

adn btw i can play singleplayer fine..i just can't connect for some reason..and no window popsup saying anythingn either..just a little stutter then back to the servers screen...PLEASE HELP ME

Also...normal Battlefield 2 works fine...and another note..i have my firewalls and anti-virus programs turned off..PLEASE HELP

When you start it up do you start it from the BF2-SF icon or the regular BF2 icon?

It shouldn't make a difference as I can start one and when I click join for a map of the other it starts the appropriate game before joining the server.

You are correct in that you need to repatch to 1.3. 

Did you have EF and/or AF installed as well?

If so you will need uninstall all.  Reinstall BF2, Reinstall SF, then reinstall EF/AF then patch to 1.3.

well i didn't have EF or AF...but i will try reinstalling BF2 then SF and then patch to 1.3...i hope it works

Yea that should do it, you have got to dump everything reinstall and repatch and it should work fine!
