Sometimes when I load into the game, it'll be fine for about 20 seconds then freeze, sound will loop and eventually lead to a BSOD.

Other times it will do the same, but only freeze for about 1 second, judder a bit then it'll be fine but will do it everytime a new map is loaded.

Others it just doesnt happen at all.

Anyone know whats going on?

Next time you get a BSOD check what file it references to.

I recently started getting BSODs referencing nv4_disp.dll, the display driver, after I installed the latest 91.31 drivers. Rolled back to older versions and no more trouble.

I would, but it resets as soon as the BSOG comes up.

I cant find the setting in the BIOS to stop it, but I know its there somewhere

Right click My Computer > Properties > Advanced > Startup and Recovery and uncheck Automatically Restart. That'll keep the BSOD on-screen long enough to take it all in, then manually reboot.

You say 1024 MB of ram, but in what config - 2 x 512MB, what size of sticks, and where are they (which slots)...
