Ok here we go.....

I have 1.5 Gb's of RAM now. I am buying this RAM >>>>> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6820227063 . If i install this RAM with the other 1.5 Gb's of RAM which would be faster?
Just the 2 GB dual channel, or with all of it together of a total of 3.5 Gb's??????? Thanks ahead of time and somebody please help me im stuck!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm gonna say the 2gigs would be better, but I'm not sure. Anyone else?

Ooooh, that one I don't get how does 2 gigs perform better on 3.5 gigs? To me thats like saying 0.5 gigs is better then 1.0 gigs..

Speeds. Do you know RAM has more to it than just capacity?

the speed affects everything, its better to have them in matching patterns, for example, 2 x 1GB instead of 1 X 1GB and 2 x 512MB.

yes.

mmm the amount of Mhz seems more important than the amount of ram. If you have one of 333Mhz and two of 400, the two good ones will act as 333's.

ddenholm67 is talking about dual channeling, you have to have 2 of each to do this, it works like this
(slot) (dual1)
(slot) (dual2)
(slot) (dual1)
(slot) (dual2)

Thats how it works on my computer, i have it setup like this
(256)
(1gb)
(256)
(slot)

I  bought my computer with the 256's dual channeled and added 1 GB for the space.

Important is, that the ones you allready have and the new rams have the same specs (DDR 400 / PC 3200). I wouldn't mix up rams with different frequencys.  Furthermore, it's better when both channels have the same capacity to maximize the performance, but much less important than the specs.

If the new and the old ones have the same specs, the I would try it, if the 3.5 GB's are faster, than only 1 GB per channel...

then your new ram will only run at PC 2700 speed. Therefore, stick with the OCZ's alone.

well i used to have 1.5 gb of just basic generic ram and then i just bought two stick ballistic curcial and thats extremly fast i would have to say that dual chanel 2g would be better but thats just a theory you never know.

In that case, like the above posters allready said: Run only the new ones... you will lost the speed advantage of the new ones, when you mix them up....

EDIT:

Oops, you allready made your choice... anyway, have fun with your fast 2 gigs...
