in the SF folders i managed to change all teh guns to what i wanted:

e.g.

F2000 is now FN2000

and

FN Scar-L

however when i go back into vanilla the weaposn are still called F2000 etc.

is there any mroe liens and stuff i need to edit to get it to work?

I screwed up badly, when i open bf2 it says this at the login screen

LOGIN_loginusername
LOGIN_account management

But the problem is that i never changed any of those lines around.
Any help?

Nvm, fixed it, it seems that the were missing at the end and it screwed up everything

ive also got a problem (had it for a while now)

once i put edited localization files in, on the comrose the option for vehicle drop is somthing like; HUD_COMROSE etc. etc. aswell as on the commander screen.

im guessing im missing a line somewhere, so if someone could post the line and where to put it... that would be great.

these are the ones I've changed so far.. probably gonna do some more, but for now I want to see if these works..

Yes, becuase they are glabal-local files it will change it in multiplayer aswell, they both use the same utxt file to display.

My ss's are in single player mode because i was in a hurry to finish!
