It's just a large graphics processor, basically. It takes images, and can transmit them to an HD LCD/DLP/Plasma TV for a video wall effect.

It looks cool. I don't need one though.

Yeah, that card is a break out box of sorts. You put your signal from whatever you are playing into it, and then plug it into multiple tvs for a video wall. Pretty cool, but hella expensive.
