Carbines/Assault rifles

Hi, first post here. Sorry for my crap English, I'm Italian.

No, it's not a "what are carbines and what are assault rifles?" question, but looking at my stats: http://bf2s.com/player/74672069/ i see 24 assault rifles kills.

But I have a grand total of SIX kills with assault and medic kits combined.
So how can I have 24 assault rifles kills? Maybe some spec-op weapon in Special Forces is considered an assault rifle?

Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't 5 + 2 = 7?

All kidding aside, I think it is a bug or glitch.

What about his command time. If he used artillery whilst holding a rifle, don't those kills go down to the rifle?

They dont go down for the weapon, only for the viechal your in. Atleast Im pretty sure on that because if that was true I would have 1,000 Shockpaddle kills instead of 70 or what ever I have.

no, i dont think that counts, because it says [artillery]. it has to be a glich cus no other kits get assault rifles, the only thing it could be is spec ops, or the only other thing i could think of is AT, the pp19, i dont think so, but im not sure

i was making an account with over 100 k/d ratio, but due to server crashes, and two noobs tking me accounting for 66% of my deaths, i ended up with 27.6, but i have a ratio of 29.6 in a jet.
thats 6 more kills in a jet than my total kills.
can anyone explain how i got 104% of my kills?

to reply to a few messages, no, the g36c is a carbine, not an assault rifle, and every gun for spec ops is a carbine for that matter. also the PP19 is a SMG, not an assault rifle

Well, all carbines are rifles. They're lighter, shorter rifles than assault rifles. So yes, the G36C is a rifle, but it's a carbine rifle, not a full-size assault rifle.
