I don't really have a favorite spot since I run all over the map. Last night the palace was fun for a little while. But my squad leader and I went from flag to flag. We had the highest scores of the game from mostly capping flags...defending the security office and palace.

so am i too assume no one has had a great plaza battle? not even one person? i almost like them as much as the palace... if im in a tank, i do like the plaza better.

Honestly I dont know that there is a bad place to do battle on warlord
Well what makes Warlord so brilliant and the best map there is, is that ALL flags are top dog! lets review --
Plaza: SAS rain down like cats and dogs! get in the truck and start duck hunting! Snipe from the top of the tallest building or Be SAS and snipe away or tank it up there to take out the blackmarket sellers!
TV : For Insurgents this is the second if not the the most important building to defend. This building can get you anywhere with the zippy. The fights in this building are immense as people are grappling from above and C4ing from below, Flashbangs are a necessity, F2000=ownage in this area, watch out for gaymores.
Hideout: This is actually my second most favorite battle to fight on this map. You've got the people above and below. people coming from all directions, by far the second best outdoor place to fight besides the Hotel on Karkand.
Mosque: The rush of Armor coming your way. This is probably the lamest battle on Warlord.
Place by the Palace, forgot the name (one with the spawn tank for Insurgents): Pretty hectic battles as people come from all directions, its usually the second flag taken by SAS if they were smart as it gives the Palace battle a backup plan.
I have around 500hrs on Warlord, and I still don't know all the names of the places...but anyway , its by far the best battles ever. Hell on Karkand there are two battles and thats it. The rest is crap....Unless FF is off on Karkand..hmmm... gives me an idea....
I say the Second best map is.. no it's not Karkand... its Night Flight, the maps at the first flag are immense as is the Airport. And The Insurgents Main, crushed a couple with the elevator, now thats funny, but not as funny as the forklift, I'd rather be knifed 3 times than ran over by a forklift.

My plan for Insurgents -
Defend by placing mines on the road by TV Station and the road at the end of the map by plaza.
Then take flags as soon as the SAS capt them, its as good as a win if you have an experienced team.
My plan for SAS - TAKE THE SECURITY OFFICE ASAP!!! Thats where the T-90 spawns. Take that away, you got the rest of the game made.
Then, go for the Hideout. Thats your way to the security office if the Insurgents take it back again. After that the Mosque is next. Thats another way to the security office if those two main flags get taken back.
TV Station is almost futile if the Insurgents are good. Gaymores and camping support players on the stairs. Its quite hard to take with a good Insurgents team.
Palace, always go for the second floor if you want points, third floor if you want a win. When I get my comp, I'll fraps the reasons why, they are quite hilarious.
Plaza, easily taken over with paratroopers once Insurgents are distracted.
Thats my major plan for Warlord.
