Guys, I seem to get memory leaks while playing Warlord.
I have been playing BF2 and SF for over a year and have never had a memory leak before.
EDIT: all other BF2 and SF maps are fine.
I have 2Gb of RAM and run without a pagefile. This has not been an issue until the last month.
When running without a pagefile, when the memory usage reached 2Gb BF2 would be killed.
I set my PC to use a pagefile, but now when the memory reaches 2Gb, I have 90 - 120 seconds where my whole PC freezes up, after that BF2 plays very badly, ie 10-12 FPS [instead of 40-50], sounds get stuck on loops, TeamSpeak audio loops.
I don't know if it is a 1.3 issue, but none of my clan mates have ever had a similar issue, or even heard about it.
I have tried re-patching 1.3 with the full version. No change.
I had overclocked my card a little [10% ish] and thought that it could be that, so I turned all setting back to default. No change [except lower FPS].
I have tried removing BF2 and SF, deleting all files, rebooting and re-installing them. No change.
My last option before a full format and rebuild of my PC is to see if any of you guys have seen, heard of, or fixed this problem.
If anyone has any ideas, or suggestions please let me know.
Thanks in advance for any help.
