Ok guys, some of you might alright know how to do this, so for those of you that know how, don't flame me for posting this.  Just leave.

Anyway, if you didn't already know, you can get into your BFHQ quickly, just from double clicking the game icon.  That means no intro movies, and no log in screen.  This can be done very easily by:

1)  Go to your C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\Mods\bf2\Movies\ folder.

2)  Delete all of the files in there except for menuloggedin.bik + menu.bik.

3)  Right click on the desktop shortcut that you use for BF2.  Click properties.

4)  In the box labled "Target" add this onto the end of it:

+playerName YOUR PLAYER NAME HERE +playerPassword YOUR PASSWORD HERE

5)  Click OK.

Now when you double click your BF2 shortcut, you will be sent straight to the BF2 HQ screen, skipping the intro movies and the login screen.

Oh yeah, and if you want to not have the CD in the drive in order to play BF2 (which will save about another 15 seconds):

1)  Download the Cracked .exe from:

http://m0001.gamecopyworld.com/games/pc … %20v1.3%20[ENGLISH]%20No-CD/Fixed%20EXE

2)  Extract it using WinRAR, and overwrite your original BF2.exe.

3) Be sure to keep a backup of the original BF2.exe!

Oh yeah, deleting those movies also frees up about 135 MB of RAM.

Deleting the ones I told you not to will just get rid of the background screen for your game, which isn't a big deal really.  So you can do that if you want to free up an additional 120 MB of RAM.

you can just add "+restart 1" to the end of the shortcut to not show the movies

the command is just "+restart" with no "1" at the end

so yeah, as mentioned, just add "+restart" to the target line of your shortcut and it'll bring you to the login screen - might not be as quick as the OP's method if you only have one account but if you have two or more accounts then this method is most likely the way to go. And it's also simple method as well which is another plus.

Last time I tried Punkbuster didn't like the cracked .exe file. It kicks for corrupted files.

No-cd cracks can cause PB issues. Just make a mini-image of your CD.

I dont want to deal with daemon tools, I just wanted the easy way lol.

Even though it seems like the easy way now is to just leave the SF disc in, as I have .exe cracks for every other game I play.

you can get rid of menu.bik and login.bik because they are just the (useless) movies that play in the background.  i like this autologin thing tho thx for the tip

Use something like "Deamon tools" or "Alcohol 120%" to copy your DVD and mount it to a 'virtual' drive. This makes Windows think that you have annother DVD drive and that your BF2 disk is loaded in it
