Is it just me or what? I've seen so many freaking polls here about useless crap like:
What is the prettiest medal?
Should there be an award for blah blah blah?
What do you wear on your feet while playing BF2?
When was your main account created?
Are you an active forum BF2s'er? (my award for most useless poll ever)
Should The New Patch Be Beta Tested? (runner up)
Yes I admit, this is yet another useless poll (in my own defense, it is also my first and last poll). Please people, before you post yet another useless, meaningless poll, ask yourself the following questions:
Will this poll benefit the community?
Will this poll generate any useful information?
Did I only post this poll because I am bored?
Did I post this poll in a pathetic and futile attempt to gain a few more Karma points?
Do I fully realize that EA/DICE (and most BF2S forum members) care squat about the results of my poll?
I'm sure the mods will agree that there is such a (rare) thing as a useful poll. On the other hand I would imagine most mods would say that useless polling here on BF2S has reached an epidemic state. One has only to look at the sheer number of recently locked polls to see evidence of this.
Might I suggest that next time you feel the urge to create yet another mindless poll, perhaps you wait a day or two and see if it still seems meaningful to you. My guess is that in most cases, it will not.
OK, enough of that then. Lets hear some CONSTRUCTIVE feedback about the use of polling on BF2S.
