HAH sharky, people who own guns make you sick?
of COURSE there not all used for defense, in fact most dont even think of using them for defense, there fun to shoot and knowing different guns and having shooting them is comparable to sports and and knowing your cars or baseball teams (or soccer teams for the rest of the world.)

i went to a shooting range for the first time yesterday, damn i had fun, a friend an i went halvies in a package of 6 dif handguns.
started of with .22 ruger, and worked up to a .357 magnum, and i must say, 3 rounds of that hurt my hands like hell.
am contemplating joining a club and taking up competion, just for fun, but i dont think i would start with anything over a 9mm.

Must have been the actual .357 that you were shooting that made your hands hurt. I've shot most pistol calibers up to .44 magnum and not had too much of a problem. The only thing that really hurt was a small frame concealable model .357 that bucked like a mule. A full size .357 is pretty gentle to shoot in comparison. Same with the .44 Special Bulldog that I shot. Thought that damn thing was going to rip off my hand, where as the .44 Magnum Ruger Bisley was like shooting a little cap gun.FourStars wrote:

Freaks... I've got a knife to slice bread.. HA
Was that an M4?! Cool....
If I could buy weapons, I'd probably buy a F2000 or a G36K/G36C. BUT: I'm in Germany and I'm 14.

Jezus Christ, no wonder that America has over the 10.000 homecides a year, you guys buy guns like they are candy. In the Netherlands only cops and people who are connected in some sort of way have guns. My grandpa had one to protect his huge farm, but don't think that anyone sleeps with a revolver under their pillow. I saw the movie "Bowling for Columbine" ...omfg, Michael Moore could just buy a gun in a bank!! This shows how stupid sometimes the Americans can be....
This is gonna start a flamewar. And BTW, Injecter it's soo grown up to buy weapons IRL that you like in BF2:SF
Yeah i want an f2000 but i dont have the 1500 to 2500 for it so yeah.TC><Injecter wrote:
