You didnt address anything. You just whine and moan about Israel while Hezbollah is openly firing missles into Israel. Why dont you start a thread about the thousand missles fired into Israel?spastic bullet wrote:

And for you to call Israel a coward for not risking sending in commando's is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard. ... Nice job on missunderstanding everything I said.Did you even read my post? Or is this actually your proposed definition of terrorism -- no uniforms/non-military targets? I stand by my statement that the deaths of civilians are accidents. After the war, the Haganah carried out anti-British operations in Palestine, such as the liberation of interned immigrants from the Atlit camp, the bombing of the country's railroad network, sabotage raids on radar installations and bases of the British police.
Deir-Yassin Massacre: This battle is known mostly due to the events between 9 April and 11 April, where during (or as disputed, after) intense fighting, about 107 villagers and thirteen Arab fighters were killed, and 10 villagers and/or fighters were wounded by IZL-Lehi.
SHOCK HORROR: ISRAELI-NAZI LINKS (this even shocked me!!)
In 1940 and 1941, Lehi proposed intervening in the Second World War on the side of Nazi Germany to attain their help in expelling Britain from Mandate Palestine and to offer their assistance in "evacuating" the Jews of Europe arguing that "common interests could exist between the establishment of a new order in Europe in conformity with the German concept, and the true national aspirations of the Jewish people as they are embodied by the NMO (Lehi)."
In November 6, 1944 Lehi assassinated Lord Moyne in Cairo.
I could find loads more - but I gotta go to work....

"About 130 Lebanese, most of them civilians have died since the violence erupted on Wednesday. At least 24 Israelis, including 12 civilians, have died from Hezbollah rockets."
They must miss a lot because there 'thousands' of rockets only managed to kill 24 people.
You should just go away, you keep making shit up.
You need to back up your claims that I (1) "hate Israel" (as opposed to just not swallowing/repeating all their propaganda), and that I (2) somehow support attacks on Israeli civilians. On the other hand, you also need to just generally engage in debate instead of consistently (1) ignoring what is actually said; and (2) repeating your propagandistic talking points for the thousandth time. So I won't hold my breath.-=NHB=- Bananahands wrote:

Israel and Hezbollah are both aggressors -- all that remains is to establish the comparative scale. Happy? It's patently obvious you're scared to address even one of my points.-=NHB=- Bananahands wrote:

Hezbollah has repeatedly made incursions into Israel over the past several years. They tried a few times to kidnap Israelis and were unsuccessful. The only thing new about this time is they actually pulled it off. If Lebanon would kick Hezbollah out, Israel might stop destroying their country. They won't cause Hezbollah has a part in the Lebanese government. Since they are "harboring terrorists" Israel is going to do what ever it takes to kill as many Hezbollah members as it can. The US won't call for a cease-fire because we consider Hezbollah to be a terrorist organization. The reason Israel kills 10 times as many people is because they have a well trained, organized, supplied, and funded military as opposed to Hezbollah who has to rely on Syria and Iran for weapons and money. Think about it, Israeli warplanes drop bombs on the Hezbollah headquarters and Hezbollah flies a remote control plane packed with explosives into an Israeli battleship as a response. Of course Israel is targeting civilians, they always have in the past. They are just as blood thirsty as Hezbollah. The difference is that the US helped start the State of Israel after WW2 which is why the US government tends to look the other way. Not to mention Hezbollah was responsible for killing over 200 US Marines when suicide bombers drove trucks into their barracks in Beirut in the early 1980's. None of what's happening is anything new. The US looks the other way on lots of stuff, especially when it benefits us to do so. I'm not saying it's right. I'm just saying that's how it is and how it will remain as long as our government is in the shape it's in (and I don't mean as long as Bush is president).

legally speaking, the israeli attack on Lebanese civilians, civilian installations ( like airports, power plants, bridges ) and the attack on lebanese regular armed forces ( 10 were killed this morning when israeli fighter jets attacked their camp ) is nothing short of a unprovoked military attack on a fellow UN member state.
Lebanon as a nation has done nothing to provoke this. While it may be true that they haven't been successful in stopping hesbollah activities on their territory, that is no justification for the sort of military attacks Israel has carried out over the last couple of days. Those are just totally out of proportion, and just bound to stir up anti-israeli sentiments among the "neutral" civilian population.
Moreover, I highly doubt that those actions will help bring the israeli POW's back. I have said it before, Israel is using a broad sword when they should be using a scalpel. I think it's safe to say that history has proven that fighting terrorists with regular armed forces does ususally not work out.
IMHO, the war against terrorists is won through proper intelligence and by winning the"hearts and minds" of the civilian population, not by carpet-bombing civilian installations.

Did I say Invasion? Read again.... And saying it's acceptable lost, may you should ask yourself if it was you son, daughter, Dad, Mom that died if this is still acceptable. Those death are not just number you heard at last night news.-=NHB=- Bananahands wrote:
To bad you only qouted half of it. All im saying is that air strikes will cause far less death and destruction than an invasion force and that Lebanon needs to get their act together and secure its own borders. They are responsible for what goes on in their territory and Israel has every right to use air strikes to insure its own safety.
And I said those blind less action of both side are not acceptable.
Sometimes I would like to see the leader of those countries sit face to face, give them a pistol and tell them: "You want to kill each other, then do it, right here right now". And you know what they won't. Since they won't they should use that time to find a peaceful end to this mess.
