I was in a Dragon Valley 24/7 server solo choppering....

Take down both the choppers and a tank and APC...then i get this warning!!!!

It says "Warning ¦TØP¦ TangsterChinkz No solo TV..."

What kind of bullshit is that?

Then i find out who the admin is....cohen1976....And then he bans me after i take him down again!!!!

cripes...kudos to the guys who can actually TV accurately before the damn chopper starts spinning. I figure, if you can do it, you should be allowed. What's next, making it "illegal" to fly an empty BH (although it is a huge waste of a resource) or switch from the humV driver's seat to the gunners spot?

actually i prefer solo mode unless it a high rank person or someone who i can trust cause 75% of the players on your team cant even shoot the gun right or tv missile already so whats the point. Also i drives me crazy when there tring to play a tune with the gun. Its funny in 16player battle but if its 64 player either youre serious or you dont fly with me and you can spawn camp the american main base which is fun. So tangsterchinkz i feel your anger the best you can do is find another server.

umm i don't get it... HOW exactly is that abusing the point system??? it's not like he gets his own kill assist ... flying with a gunner is abusing the system... since each kill yields 3 points... solo TVing is being resourseful ...

any 'Admins' here who enforce this rule who want to explain this to me?

there is nothing wrong with solo tv'ing it takes some practice but once u get it u own. the admins on that server and a bunch of children who don't want u to fuck up their "1337" stats.

normally i wouldn't report a server for admin abuse, but just for the sake of them being total knobs, i'd report their fucking asses.

Sorry to quote the ROE but technically they can't enforce crap like that.If you can't find a gunner I don't see anything wrong with it.

Last time i checked, people got more kills with a pilot (That can fly)... so how is it abusing the Point System?

Maybe People Think that its exploiting the Game the way it wasn't meant to be played...

Cause.. Switching From Pilot To Gunner is a little hard in a Attack Heli In real Life last time i checked...

But then again this is BF2, not Real life.

I totally agree with you Fujin, If it wasn't allowed, then they would have made it impossible to switch seats in the chopper without getting out first. If anything, It should be easier to take down a solo chopper pilot no matter what the situation. People need to learn how to use the AA; (they are all over the place) and to all these "Admin" who have to make up rules to keep from getting killed on their own server; I have to say, Yes, it is your server and you pay for it and you do what you want.....But it sounds more like you are taking your ball and going home.

The complaint/rule against solo tv missling is that that jets and AA lose lock on. That can be considered an exploit.

I think very few people if any would have a problem if EA fixed it so that AA and jets retain their lockon when the guy switches seats in the chopper.

BTW you have just over one complete rotation to fire your missle and switch back to recover the helo before it crashes.

Just takes practice, once u master flying and tv-missle, u combine then and BOOM! there u go

Practice makes perfect....

Maybe this is why there is so many n00bs in choppers? coz i am always using it to solo and practice HAHA!

There is something called a machine gun on a jet....and on the AA, be patient and wait till he is back in the pilot seat...

As u know now, after a certain amount of time without being in the pilot seat the chopper will drop....

Solo's easy but you have no control whilst you're guiding the missile and you don't get the kill assists from your gunner (assuming you have a worthy gunner) so I see no reason for it to be wrong to do. If the chopper had two experts in it - they would have to have come up with some other bull$hit reason to kick/ban!
