You know, if EVERYONE had an M95 and shot at the black hawks coming in to take Wake Island, we would have won easily, 30 M95 shots = 30 bars of HP.

Now that I think about it, even on Karkand when the US were in the HUMVEES.

That would have probably won the match.
Every sniper with an M95 doing synchronous shooting? That MAY have won you one round (sniper as PLA on wake) only if the medics were mentally retarded. This strategy would require you to leave some flags undefended, so the blackhawks could always just go around.  On karkand it makes even less sense, the medics just divide up and/or go infantry and you get exactly the same result as we did on Saturday. EA/DICE suck at balancing classes.

So what would you do to balance it?

You rly want to know? Remove the medic's ability to heal themselves.

I watched all four matches.  It was definitely not a medic versus sniper match.  It was more helicopter ramming, cartillery, artillery, and transport chases.  The vehicles had free reign since they virtually had no chance of getting destroyed the conventional way.  For the next match, all land transports should be removed.  Karkand is small enough without transports.  Helicopter ramming should be a red card.  I would recommend removing artillery and cartillery as well.  This is the only way to prove who is best on foot.

Love'd Nyte's "Cops" episode.

Nyte, you are a great player with awesome reflexes, but I've confirmed that you do play on Noob servers (FLOT).  You were Gold and I was Silver on that Zatar map, both of us as armor whores.  In real Zatar matches, the flyboys and choppers own.  After you left the FLOT server, I proceeded to get medals almost  every round I could armor whore.

I disagree, the vehicles were the action that was followed but I was watching in game and there was a lot of trooper action.
Removing vehicles would have left you with a slower game, less action and still no proof.

People, realise, there is no proof of this question. That does not mean we can't have a little fun along the way though.

Without land vehicles, snipers would stand a better chance.  I don't think Karkand and Wake without vehicles would be slower (most of us go on foot anyways).  If anything, I believe combat would be more intense.  Not about capping flags, but instead, engaging the enemy directly.  A front line if you will...

Next broadcast, how about convincing the BFTV folks to show combat from an Admin perspective.  As you said, a better perspective of the battle.  Show views from the perspective of the top scoring players.  More entertaining.

But yes, in the end, it's about the fun factor.  But it's not as fun as if the ticket loss were neck and neck.

Don't know what you mean by 'admin' perspective?

As a "dead" player clicking view from player to player.  Or is that only on Battlerecorder?

Ah right, I think it can be done as thats how they used to cast but it makes for hard viewing, it never works as well as you might imagine, especially when you have ~30 players to cycle through.

I don't remember too well.  Was I an engineer on that map? I may have been trying to teach a friend of mine how to play (He was in my squad, I was using VoIP if I recall correctly).

This was the Saturday some hours after the MvS match.  Yeah, I saw you repairing a tank while someone else was in the tank.  I came rolling in nearby with an APC, and in my normal fashion, went full throttle into the nearby enemy flag, killing as much as I can before I got overpowered.  Didn't see you after that match.
