I got BF2 a just when 1.3 came out, been playing vanilla BF2 since then. I got SF yesterday and installed SF and patched to 1.4 v2 and bam! CTD unistalled everything reinstalled and still CTD but now I cant patch the game because the patch will not run after I click next and agree it trys to install it but it just stops there....any help from someone with this issue will be greatly appreciated.

you may have to completly uninstall everything including EA downloader. not sure about the beta not downloaded that yet going to wait till its finished b4 i download it, also CTD happens all the time with 1.3 its the norm.
also as this is your first time i will be nice and tell you that loads of people will twll you to use the search feature. also +1 just to get you going.

From what he says, I don't think he's got the downloader (no AF, No EF). SF is probably version 1.1 so you may need to install BF2, install SF, patch to 1.3 and then patch to 1.4.

If anyone is haveing the same issue ths is what I did;
Unistalled BF2 and SF, deleted any remainig folders.
Installed BF2 (dont restart when asked to do so)
Installed SF
Insatlled patch 1.4 V2 full "for some reason the patch only works if downloaded again"
Now to find servers hard to find them, thanks for your replies.
