Alright, my friend brought up the question that a 6800gt is better than a 7600gt (both pci-e). Before you get your panties in a wad, it can be. The 6800 is running higher memory bandwidth than the 7600, which is all due in part that the 6800 has a bigger bus width than the 7600. So, the 6800 has more muscle, but which has the btter graphics quality? Answer me that.
Ok to make it tough I will give you this question. I will post each card with a setup, tell me which is better. Better as in video quality, not pure power.
The 6800 setup-
6800gt @ 350/500 with 256mb of RAM. Pentium D 820 running @ 2.8ghz. 1GB of pc3200(DDR400). With a mobo that has an x16 pci-e bus. a WD Raptor. To finish it wanna see it with reference to bf2 with setting on high.
The 7600 setup-
7600gt @ 575/750 with 256mb of RAM. Amd Opteron 170 (skt 939 if ur wondering, not skt 940). 1GB of pc3200(DDR400). With an x16 mobo. WD Raptor. Also with bf2 all on high.
Tell me what you think will be better.
