sounds pricey.
Yeah, I found one of those on Newegg but I didn't know if it was worth making a thread for because I thought it was going to be a piece of crap due to the PCI-e x1 factor.

It's more than 200$ less expensive than the other much crappier PNY PCI-e x1 video card that Newegg carries. It is in fact so good that Newegg is fresh out of them.

4 pixel pipelines
512 MB RAM onboard
64-bit
GDDR2
Bet it can't run BF 2.

Someone here should buy it and try it.-r3-anubis wrote:

The x1 slot was never made for Video cards. But there is not much support for the slot with anything, so I suppoose this is a step in the right direction.
Same goes with the expressslot on my Laptop.

What exactly do they mean by on-board RAM for this card? Also, this card is probably better than my 9600 if the fact that it's on-board RAM doesn't matter, look at this:
450MHz clock speed, my 9600 only does 324MHz
500MHz memory clock speed compared to my Radeon's microscopic 196MHz
Then again my 9600 is a REALLY sucky card to begin with, lol.
RV515 90nm process <- (This might be important, I don't know what the size of the processor does for the quality)
Vertex and Pixel Shader 3.0
10bit Native Display Quality
Dynamic Flow Control
128-bit FP32 Processing
1024 instruction slots Shaders
128-way Ultra-threaded dispatch processor
High Dymanic Range rendering
All stage Trilinear (16X) Anisotropic Filtering
Full (HQ) Anisotropic Filtering
12X Temporal Max. MSAA
6X Adaptive AA
Parallax Occlusion Mapping
12-tap error-free Dynamic Soft Shadows
RMX/RMC
H.264 Accelerated
DL-DVI
btw, Newegg still has these out of stock since they came out.

It's doing so good with sales that Newegg stopped carrying the other PNY PCI-e card that they were carrying.
