Hey, I was wondering, if my mate gave me his BF2:SF disc and i installed it. Does the cd-key still work even though he has an account with it?

Yes, but you can't both play at the same time as far as I understand it. When you log in, it checks the cd key.

ah fair enough, he doesnt really play it anyway.
