It says that to get an expert badge in SF you need 44 kills. I was playing as an engineer the other day and got the 44 with no expert badge. Thought maybe I screwed up and used a different kit somewhere along the way. Did it a second time and stayed very aware of my kit, same thing, 44 kills no badge. Played as third time and after 46 kills I finally got it. Anyone else having this problem?

I figured I used a different kit the first time so I made sure I didn't the second time. No biggie. Just wondering if anyone else had the same problem.
I think maybe the kills have to register as something the engineer has with him; if a kill ends up as being "YOU [killed] HE", I don't think it registers in terms of Badge requirements. I may be wrong, it's just a thought.
had the same prob with my veteran sniper; i tried it again and got it finally
lol...same with the armor ribbon...actually, come to think of it, the ribbon still hasn't showed up...
Currently having this problem with Medic Vet. Got 52 kills one round, and 56 the second round, and no expert medic badges, and I do have the 100 hours before I was in both of those games. Help plz.
I concur.Janysc wrote:

My buddy had the requirements for the vet knife badge, and it took 3 weeks for it to register before it actually gave it to him.
For my veteran Sniper Specialist I had to kill 2 more than req but I can't remember if it's ever happened to me before when going for other badges.
well each kill is 2 points but still only counts as 1 kill IAR , so 44 would be 88 points needed.
If thats not it then I don't know because most of my vets or experts have taken more than the requirement to kick it in, most of the time it seems to take double. it was at 80 that I got the expert engineer 84 got the sf expert engineer, & 86 I got the sf tank ribbon course that could be the time requirement.

i got mine today at 44. odd.
sometimes it doesnt go at 44 killz. cuz i was in the helo and got 44 killz and i didnt get it. so i killed two more guys and i got it. very weird.
that's what i was thinking too +1 for thinking like a genius!!Janysc wrote:

yea for almost every badge/medal i have had to get on avg 2 more kills than the requirement and i have alot so i should know!
One of the things about getting the armor ribbon is that you must have registered all the kills with the weapons of the armor vehicle. None of the kills can be a result of an object blowing up (roadkill). Roadkills happen more often than you think when in armor. Your shooting at another vehicle the driver/gunner/passengers bail out the vehicle blows...roadkills. When you get that pesky spec ops bdu's tangled in your tracks or wrapped around your axle it's a road kill.Konfusion0 wrote:
