Can you get any of the vanilla BF2 awards while playing SF?

Im thinking of awards like the ground defense ribbon, that you can meet the requirements for in SF

Not sure about ribbons, but you can definitely get the vanilla badges in SF. You just have to match the SF badge requirements as far as i know.

yes, you can and its actually better to earn the kit badges in SF bc you are just a few kills away to earning the same one in SF as a specialist also the crew service ribbon, armored and helo ribbon are best to go after in SF since you are just a few kills shy of getting both vanilla and SF ribbons

Yes, you can get the vanilla badges in SF, this one doesnt go for the ribbons!!!
