Ok, I have 47,250 global points and all basic badges (plus some veteran and expert badges) as stated by the requirements listed on this site. I gained a few ranks after logging in the first day they rearranged the stats requirements, and lowered the standards. It didn't bother me initially, but, after months and months of playing, an expansion pack, and 2 booster packs, my bar is still full, and I can't get to the rank of 1st Sgt.

Do I have to earn all the badges in SF too? Cause to be honest with you, I have it, but I don't really like it! My bar has been full and I haven't been earning ranks since before SF came out anyway, so hopefully this isn't the case.

Does anyone else have this problem? Do I need to do something else to get the rank?

What I do when that happens is play in a server I have never played in before, but it sounds like your problem is more than that...

FULL BAR BUG, same with me. If you have 20000 and are not First Sarge, the bar will be kept full.
With 50.000 you will get next rank.

Are you a Master Sergeant? If you are, you cant get to First Sergeant from there, you have to wait to get Sergeant Major or Master Gunnery Sergeant.

If so, a Master Sergeant doesnt rank up to a First Sergeant. Once you hit 20,000 you get either MSgt or 1Sgt, you cant have both

I think it will be fixed when you hit 50,000. You will get 2 promotions.

Yeah, I'm Master Sgt. right now, and i think yer right...prolly wont see a promo till 50k.

Ah, I see... yup, that's me! Musta posted before yer edit Anyway, it says my next rank is First Sgt in BFHQ, dunno why then if I can't become a First Sgt. That just seems pretty crappy to me since I've been looking at that friggin annoying bar for a very long time now, but, oh well, whaddya gonna do? Thanks!

all that happened is that you didn't meet one or more of the requirements before you got to 20,000. so you are stuck with master sgt.
