i think today (11-07-06) 1.4 comes out since i can't conect to EA Downloader and their website is also down so i think they are updating their stuff for the patch (knowing EA that will take a few hours )

And you are being ridiculously optimistic if you think this is gonna solve everything. I thought people had already had CTD with the 1.4 beta which was supposed to fix that.

Well we went from 2 servers to just one.. Until they fix the server crashing ting.

I haven't heard/read any rumors about a release today and there's usually someone who leaks info a bit early. I predict a release in, wait for it, waaaait, 3 weeks time.
Honestly, I'm not expecting it for at LEAST a couple more weeks. It takes time to gather feedback and then make changes, re-test etc.

I've played it twice both on the road to jalalabad.
It played well & smooth , it was a UK server, no crashes.
The map seemed a blood bath for mec.
My 1.3 doesn't seem to be crashing that much anymore.
Good luck to those in the beta, maybe players can show them all the bugs.

Jalalabad is a great map I think. I pulled it from 1.4beta and me and some friends play co-op on it on 1.3. Only thing the Hotel is missing!!! All you see is a ladder shooting straight up in the air and part of an airplane in a ball of fire! Quite funny!!!

New map sucks. So there's nothing else that really interests me, I'd prefer it if they just spent 4 months fixing ALL the bugs and crashes. But that's wishful thinking..

i hope the patch goes out after the last week of july because i have a tournnament and noobtubbers piss me off
1.4 Better not be out yet . . . We've only just started bitching about everything. We won't really hit our stride until the end of July. Then we'll have worn ourselves out and be ready for a new patch to start bitching about. Isn't that how this whole thing works any way?
