ive met all requirements for this ribbon in one round but still not got it is there a problem
Uh, there is no "basic defense ribbon" perhaps that is the problem...
If you are referring to the ground defense ribbon:
Awarded to recognize the individual who participated in sustained ground combat
IAR: 3 minutes in TOW/Mounted Machine Gun
IAR: 5 kills in TOW/Mounted Machine Gun

sorry yes thats the one but ive done it a few times but no ribbon
You sure you spent five minutes? Sometimes it seems like longer then it is. Especially for helicopter, which is I think my most recent badge.
