AS uve probly guessed yes i scaned throgh the read me files and did not read them so now i need help is there anway to get back on 1.3.

If you forgot to copy your bf2 folder your only way to fix it is to reinstall. I don't think there is any other way to switch back to an older patch. You can wait and keep playing 1.4 beta and hope that EA will release the patch soon... No, never mind you should reinstall.

DAM you see the problem is i will lose euro force cas my ea dowloader acount was lost
Copy the three maps and the booster client + server. Hopefully that can reinstall Euro forces. If you still have the EA downloader on your computer, you can go to
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Downloader\cache\NAME
and look for the euro force folder.
Your cache folder should look like this
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Downloader\cache\NAME

I just looked at some member options at EA's site. You can recover your member name.
go to http://www.ea.com/official/battlefield/battlefield2/us/
and press log in in the top right corner, then press forgot your member name. Your downloader account and your ea.com account are the same.

My freind just got BF2 and installed and patched it. When he start it it crashes to desk top. He has reinstalled over 3 times if any one knows how to fix that problem let me know?
All you need is your E mail adress to recover your account. Assuming the e-mail you used was valid.I wrote:

Your EA downloader account and your ea.com account are the same.
Then you can use the forgot password option if you forgot that too. Remeber, your downloader account and the website account ARE THE SAME. Once you retrieve the account you can log into the downloader.

What about going back to an earlier restore point on windows Xp before you installed 1.4 patch.
