I think it is going to just be able to replace the Harrier. I highly doubt it could carry the payloads of the F-16, F/A-18 and A-10 with it's supposed capabilities.

The F-35B sucks ass Compared to the F-18, F-15, Su-30 and Su-34, J-10,MiG-29.. pretty much everything in the game.. The only thing its good for is Rapeing the Enemys Jet spawn so they cant get in the air.. other wise, if a jet gets in the Air, your fucked.. or if someone steps in a AA..

It's fun to hover and spawn rape. On wake if china has one base left. Beats bombing and machine gun firing then flying back over the carrier/airfield to rearm.

Oh and by the way.. the F-35 should be the dominant aircraft in BF2. It's just that Dice is so worried about balance to the game that they completely strip the "Lightning II" of its main advantage: stealth.
