BF2S Forums moongamers server

Im a frequent gamer at moon gamers(700 hours plus played there)...and I have to honestly say..if I hadnt made so many friends there, I would never return to there playground style rules. I believe that ea games didnt have in mind putting boundries on their game...Moongamers rules truely support "fight at hotel"...hell, I have played games there where there was no fighting on the entire map except the points between the square, and the hotel. If your getting dominated at hotel...spawn further back. Instead, rookies/video gamers continue to spawn over and over again, only to be kill by the dominate force. Remember, its not a video game (attack at hotel), but to use the whole battlefield 360 degrees of it. On top of all this, the rules from admin to admin are determined differantly...and impossible to inforce 100% of the time. Take out the silly boundires and play the game as its suppose to play..and have the rookies play elsewhere.

I only continued playing there because I met so many people there. It wasn't until they started to ban us with gay false accusations they couldn't even prove or support.

Thereby you saying that BF2 ROE doesn't apply the privately owned servers, means that privately owned servers, may run Knives and Pistols only, Stat Padding Only and Capping Flags Only Servers. Which is an offense that wiped many users stats as well.

3 LOCAL (PRIVATELY RENTED) RANKED SERVER RULES MODIFICATIONS

These are rules that are not enforced upon in EA’s public ranked servers but may be modified in privately rented ranked servers. These rules are decided by clan administrators for those servers and as long as they do not contradict any global rules enforced by EA are considered valid for those servers.

This would include but not limited to:
§ Artillery fire or bombing runs on main (uncapturable) bases may be prohibited.
§ Prolonged or sustained attacks on main (uncapturable) bases (i.e. spawncamping).
§ Using the Transport Helicopters to take flags (Blackhawk whoring or flag hopping).
§ Impersonating clan members.
§ Using C4 on jeeps, or other fast moving vehicles to take out other vehicles.
§ Clans may change or customise rules, provided they don’t violate the above ROE rules.

As well as on Page 2

EA, as well as WOLF, take Ranked Servers and the rules very serious... You can Report them to us and we will get the information to EA. They will investigate and take action. EA is VERY serious about this and will actually do something for a change...

So if anyone wants, report away! They will obviously initiate an investigation if a crap load of people complain. Just stuff that happens when people can't read.

You just completely discredited yourself right there. Look, if you're in a tank or apc, just drive on past the hotel. You can go there on foot as much as you'd like.

I got a chuckle out of this guys post..I have since made a link to moongamers forum regarding this forum topic post... Lin responded by saying..its the admins who decide what the rules are and they(core) only approve or disapprove them...which only substatuates everything that is said...They have no clue whats going on...I suggest perhaps they get on the same page at the moon.

I believe I have quoted your point made to me on your forum Lin, correct me here exactly what you said then...I would copy and paste it here, but you have locked my threads in your forum.  You guys are treating me as though I have been banned from Moongamers, and Im out for revenge on this thread( I have never been booted from the moon, perhaps only a boot for being idle once or twice)....I was only debating a topic, which I got very little debate back....

Probably the politically best way to have handled it ...are rules are not up for debate...end of discussion

Actually he discredited himself a long time ago. He used to be a Moongamers Admin until he was deemed not to be up to standards and let go. Now he's just an ex-admin with a grudge. I don't recall him raising this issue ever until now. I do seem to recall that he once said that he saw nothing wrong with taking advantage of glitching (found and posted quotes).

For someone who is complaining about the camping rule in Karkand I just found a little jewel that you all may also find interesting...


One of the reasons he is gone is that he didn't seem to see anything wrong with taking advantage of glitches in the game:

It is the admins of the server who request to have the rules in place/changed/etc. Core and the Sr Admins review and either approve and implement, or not.

I will agree there are some issues regarding the Karkand rules and those are being addressed; in fact, the admins are scheduling a meeting.

Yes, we try to attract a certain player: the mature one who values a fun game over stat padding. Bringing BF2S into our forum is a joke; it is well known that most of those posters are kids who have been kicked or banned from here for legitimate reasons. We don't run our community by what others think; most of us are mature enough to not care about popularity contests. We run it based on what our members think and how we feel it should be run. Some will like it here, some will not. That is the beauty of the internet and thousands of servers out there.

I bolded the points that you failed to notice earlier. We used to check out the claims of those who would come here to complain...and found players who had been problematic and/or legitimately kicked, who wanted us to bend or change our rules to suit them, coming here to complain (can anyone say "colony"?). We learned a long time ago to just ignore the complainers and keep doing what we do. We are in close contact with our host and BF2RS to ensure we are not breaking or even bending the guidelines set down by EA.

You mistake my passion for debate as argument...I got zero debate on my post at your forum. What I got was..."Are current rules keep are server full, and the rules in place keep the battlefield balanced". I was hoping for a bit more debate. I got really nothing substantial for a debate on the points I gave...Moongamers rules are moongamers rules..I respect them when I play there....but that doesnt mean I agree with them. The passion for the true 360 degree battlefield sparked my debate with moongamers, a long time played server  of myself and many others. Not my fault you mistake my debate as a argument.

Why do server have the pussy rule of no spawn camping?  How gay is that?  If you don't like getting raped, get a flag.  It appears MoonGamers have a collection of retards who think being an admin is the best thing in life.  lol .
