Sorry, I've taken to assuming that people attack Liberal politicians on site. I apologise (I won't change the post though, I'm not a revisionist ).

I'm on the right side of the fence, but I agree with you. Politics these days make even me weary.Erkut.hv wrote:

Just for the record, this was supposed to show that lowing's statement had several possible causes. It is not a statement of fact, necessarily.Bubbalo wrote:
You're right, I have never heard of Liberals rigging an election. Good point.
actually in my state of Georgia, the libs are whining because of a bill that actually requires someone to show some ID when they vote, the only thing this accomplishes is preventing someone from voting illegally (I.E. illegal aliens) or voting twice, now why would the dems be against this bill?
Did Florida sell their used ballot machines at a discount to mexico?lowing wrote:

BN has a talent for finding stories that lead you to conlusions without a full representation of the facts, everyone posting "/owned" is focusing on the fact that the ballots were found in a lib stronghold, indicating that the votes "might" be for the lib candidate and trashed for that reason, however lowing is absolutely right in that no one has stated what the tally of the trashed votes is, or whether they were trashed for a legitimate reason like not filling out the ballot properly.lowing wrote:
Nope, what I am trying to say is, you only seem to hear of voter fraud, and a bunch of whinning and bitching when LIBERALS LOSE!! lolSpumantiii wrote:
are you trying to say that votes have NEVER been tampered with?
It happens ALOT in central and south america, or there is simply a military coupIf it is a bunch of votes found in the dump, yet no one seems to know who the votes were for, liberal? conservative? or both?? lolBN wrote:

either way, if the liberals won, I bet these ballads would have never been found. I also bet if truth be known, they were stashed so they could be be "found" later in case of defeat. Since it seems the liberals seem to love to go digging through dumpsters right after a vote, and in allllllllll of Mexico they know exactly which dumpsters to go crawling in......LMAO!!
To interpolate an opposing hypothesis as to why these ballots were discarded (holy christ, I'm coming down with a bad case of "Xietsu"), is polling handled in Mexico the same way it is here? If so, a district which is a lib stronghold would have polling outposts staffed by lib pollsters. The way that all the counties in Florida which had vote counts disputed by the DNC were actually staffed by Democrats, a point often glossed over when the 2000 vote debacle is brought up.

If it is true, then those libs really aren't the majority, I hate to break it to you. My dad and tons of other dems in this area actually had to enforce other people at voting sites to show their ID's because they didn't know it was actually a law. Reps were doing it to.kr@cker wrote:

But even so, there is going to be a dilemna with the illegals about voting next pres. election.
But please, saying all dems are against that bill is plain stupid. You need a reality check. Reps have a much worse history of voting fraud. After all, thanks to the majorly right wing racist south, it took liberal democrats to actually educate the black citizens on how they can vote, and their voting rights, back in the good old days of the Civil Rights Act.

in MY STATE, the bill is being opposed by democrats, and supported by republicans, I don't know about florida, hell the DEMOCRATIC BLACK CAUCUS even shipped Jesse Jackson down here to fan the waves of racism and opposition to the bill. The claim is that it is discriminatory in that, as Jesse put it, most poor people are of ethnic minorities, and cannot afford to go and obtain state issued ID's. To which Governor Perdue responded, that it clearly states that the government will foot the bill for those who need it (because they do not have a drivers license), and will also provide transportation not only to get the ID's, but to the polling outposts as well.Spearhead wrote:

and double check your history, you'll find that historically speaking, the "racist south" votes democrat, and it was democrat governors who ordered the national guard to keep blacks out of schools, and democrat candidates (strom thurmond) who ran for president on a pro-segregation platform, and democrat senators (Thurmond-SC, Robert "sheets" Byrd-WV) who have served in the senate and confirmed members of the KKK in our lifetime. Yet another victim of revisionism.

It passed, the courts said it was legal, now the libs are whining trying to get it stayed because it was finalized too close to the primary elections, now who's fault is it that the bill was tied up in courts for months? Everyone could have had ample opportunity to go get their ID's, in fact, the local branch of the Republican party offers shuttle rides to get ID's within a few weeks of the elections. I'm all about someone (legally) having the opportunity to vote, and since I don't have to travel this winter like I have every winter for the past 10 years for my old job, I think I'll volunteer.
