Hey does anyone have an explanation for this? I just logged onto BF2 after a frustrating BF2SF game and wanted to play some Armored Fury... then I noticed this at the top of the game list:

But it shows up that that's a ranked map/server, can you really use custom maps for ranked servers?

wierd, i have heard of people getting away with using custom maps ranked before EA got wind of it.

It's possible to use a custom map on a ranked server. Don't know if it's allowed and I'm pretty sure EA doesn't like it (GIVE US MONEY!!11), but whatever.

...And here come the "stfu roe n00b" people. I think I'll leave now.

And your all right, custom maps cant run on ranked.. could just be a muck up with gamespy..

Played that map in the NAW mod. Pretty good map but like all custom maps not enough people and it had a few bugs.
