as a Marine I am for Freedom of Speech, it was one of the reasons I joined so I could do my part to preserve our way of life, but protesting at funerals and saying what they say is where the line is crossed - for them to say all that and then to hide behind the first amendment and if you email them with any threats they will report you to the FBI ( again using the govt. they hate )
What I find funny is when the reporter asked her what her sins are she wouldn't say
I wish that the govt. would pass a national law that forbid any type of protesting at or near any funerals, also pass a bill to ban the burning of our flag
These crazed people say " God hates America" even though they seem to read John 3:16 in a entirly different way then I have read it "God loved the world that he gave his only son"
This preaching of " God hates America " is an unbelievable stupid idea that their Preacher thought up, God didn't fax him or email him or text message him or call him saying " I hate America and everyone that isn't in the Westboro Church" - The Preacher thinks its feeling, a feeling that a he knows that God hates, well what I had a feeling that God doesn't like this bashing at the funerals, what if I get a feeling that God doesn't like Westboro running their mouths - God hates the sin but loves the sinner - what if I get the feeling that God wants them to shut up and we should go stop them, God works in a mysterious ways and he uses us in his light
For the funerals I have been part of the cermonys and the funerals that I have been to for my fallen 'brothers in arms" - if I had seen any of these protesters ANY of them I would have been hauled off to jail after either shooting them or breaking a few jaws
We have a tough enough job and you don't have to support the war but support the men and women in uniform, when a stranger comes up to me and shakes my hand and says thank you that hits me hard and that means so much to all of us in service
