BF2S Forums wow bf2 wont even start now

dont really know.... but I hope you did a safe copy of the whole BF2 folder, as said in the readme file that came with the patch.

Did you rename your BF2.exe? If yes, rename it back to BF2.exe, reapply the Patch and it should work afterwards.

Think I had something similar to this when I added a new monitor once. Rename the Battlefield 2 dir from 'my documents'. This stores all your gfx settings etc, bf2 will recreate it on startup and may solve your prob.

Did it make a new dir called battlefield 2 in my documents? Have you renamed your backed up battlefield 2 dir in my programs to the original name and tried? (that last one assumes u backed up your bf2 dir before patching)

i put my backup with the name of "Copy of BF2" in the desktop.. and i had renamed them back from BF21.exe to BF2.exe
