OK all you prozor modders in here, I would like to ask a few questions. One of my clan mates wants to make a movie on Surge and Mass Destruction (SF maps) with Navy Seals vs SPETSNAZ.
1. Is it possible to add the SEALS team to Mass Destruction and Surge?
2. Is it possible to add the Littlebird (we have AF) to SF maps?
3. Is it possible to Add the sky from Operation Harvest (lightning effects included) to Surge/Mass?
4. Can I put a DPV into these maps? (there are no DPVs in SF )
5. Can I upload a SF map with these changes for download or will I have to use the entire xpack file?
6. Unlimited C4 count, without the packs dissappearing when you lay 5.
7. Would it be possible to add a sniper rifle to the Spec ops kit without a load of kit modding?
8. Finally, can I change the RPG to auto fire? (no reload animation/time)
I know how to do most of this, but some things like the Harvest sky I dunno how to do besides going into the sky.con file. Thanks for the help in advance.....

If I remember correctly Citizen One said that you get a CTD when you use the passenger seat of the little bird(or bots use it).But you can add it though....VeNg3nCe^ wrote:

Citizen One also posted somewhere that you get a CTD with the Operation Harvest sky as soon as the lightning strikes(don't know on which map though).
And when you change anything that's not in the level folder itself(Objects_client.zip!) you gotta use the entire xpack file(standalone mod).

yes, but doesent work on single player unless you ADD the vehile, replacing another vehicle is a no go.

how can you get the unlimited C4 without disappearing? as I have an idea for one hell of a C4 trap on gator. as in, put C4 so that EVERYWHERE inside the carrier is coated with C4,then wait for the MEC to go in ( have more C4 to deal with anyone landing on the carrier. controlled by someone else. and have a small area safe friomthe C4 for the US seals.
I know a lot of this stuff is quite obious to you, but I'm not an experienced modder at all..... plus BF2 CTDs a lot when changes are made. I've narrowed what I want to do down to just modding the map (not weapons and stuff), so the only thing I don't know how to do is adding the lightning to Surge/Mass. Hmmm.. This is a great mod.. and it's amazing work! I just can't seem to get it to work.. I wanted to get an A-10 on CleanSweep ( I have AF), the way you guys did it, along with being able to vehicle drop an LAV or a heli. For some reason though, I did the vehicle drop, and nothing happened. It wouldn't show up, and the drop would reload, as if it did. The A-10 would replace an F-15, but instead nothing was there. A little help please? I'd appreciate it very much! I'd give all of those who helped make this possible for us n00bs karma, but I have a small amount of posts, so I can't. Rest assured, I will when I can! Thanks!
Hey there Citizen One. I am pretty much having no troubles with my modding these days, but something weird has been happening randomly. Sometimes, at random occassions, I nor any bots can spawn with certaiin kits. For instance in one of my mods, in my German army, u can only spawn as support, assault, or AT. It is very weird. Any help would be great.

I had the same problem before. Did u notie u can only spawn in as the heavy soldiers? All u have to do is in the Init.con file, if it says "country(like US)_specops country_Soldier" change it to country_specops_country_Light_Soldier" For example change "US_specops US_Soldier"to "US_specops US_Light_Soldier"

I don't know if this has been covered before, but since 1.3 there's some strings at the very bottom of "init.con" to vary what vehicle is dropped in a vehicle drop (der?).
Hop around the game zips to find the code names of the tanks and helicopters, because it would be badass to drop a heli or something in kark.

editor. you need to edit the maps for an increase in the playable area. anywya, why bother when it'll not affecvt gameplay unless you are in a plane or more flags are put in?

That is what my goal is, adding flags and what not. I added a helicopter to Karkand and it was very amusing to fly low through the streets between the buildings. But I will give it a try when I have time. I assume I have to unpack everything in order for me to open it in the editor.

ok, well thanks to citizen one, and a few others i have been able to mod a few things,
.custom kits / add sf weapons
.any army
.water
.sky
.add the never b4 seen sniper
.change vehciles (which already exist in level)
but the one thing i just cant seem to add new vehicles into levels of vanilla, i.e. littlebird into karkand
i no how to add any bf2 vehicle to any level (well replace existing onces) but i just cant get any Armored Fury vehicles to work, i do it the same way as vanilla vehicles, and there in the levels server and client folder, in my mods object folder, but it just doesnt seem to work, if any of you guys, that have figure it out i would be very thankfull.

Man I'm going to spend my (parent's) life savings on renting a professional hacker to swap the 1.4 final with one that completely removes claymores from the game.
just remove one of the weapons that has the same object number.or u can always go in the file of watever ur weapon is in the weapons file in objectserver.zip in ur mod and change the object number in the tweak file. (u have to open it with notepad if its not set to open in notepad)KO wrote:
