TOKYO (AP) - North Korea launched a long-range missile Wednesday that may be capable of reaching the United States but it failed after 35 or 40 seconds, two State Department officials said.

The missile was one of at least three that were fired. The two others were short-range missiles. All landed in the Sea of Japan, said the Japanese government, which was unable to confirm that they included a long-range missile.
He is reported as saying " I wery wery solly. "

I think that China, if it wants to have good trade relations with the U.S. should give Kim Jong a time out.

If not, I would suggest we evacuate the South Korean border and threaten to arty their asses.

Making a missile that's capable of going thousands of miles isnt the hard part, the hard part is launching one and having it go where you wanted it to (guidance). That's where I think the North Koreans will have the most trouble. In short, I wouldnt worry too much about getting nuked on the west coast, unless they get lucky.

What worries me isn't their missle launching, as they will have a VERY hard time getting it to hit the US (even if the US is bigger than the side of a barn.) What worries me is how we are going to respond to all of this. We all know that Bush is itching for someone to pound, some place that won't dissolve into Insurgency.
