lol when they release the new map and you are searching for it.. it would be kinda hard... *now how many ala's where in jalalalalalalalalalabad?*

And there may be an infantry only server option after the 1.4 patch

I donno I heard Road to Jalalallalalallalabizzad might not be infantry only.

As for being in armor, people DO go for you first - usually.  Most of the time though, people are too lazy to change to AT class to take you out.  I often play in servers where I see a tank and choose AT class, but everyone else on my team desides to try to take pot shots at it with their RPKs or whatnot.  Just my luck I guess

Is it laziness to not choose AT?  Hmm.  Here's what usually happened to me when I die and I know a tank is at the spawn point and had the same thought about AT:  I would switch to AT, spawn, see tank, get killed trying to aim + press fire at same time.  Respawn.  Die immediately from arty.  Get revived, aim at tank, score a hit, die from tank shell.  Respawn, aim at tank, see tank get destroyed from someone elses (insert explosive here), then I say "?*@*+" (insert expletive here) then wonder what the hell I'm going to do with this kit.



As for me... I like the armor.  I need no 'infantry only' server to feel complete with my Karkand experience.

If you believe that you're kidding yourself.  Helis and planes don't hardly ever fight each other, because both sides would rather whore kills.  I mean, going 50 and 2 as infantry is not humanly possible as infantry really.  It's not uncommon for a good pilot.  To say aircraft and infantry is balanced is just plain absurdity.  I will agree that it's infantry's own fault for not taking out armor, but due to the total lack of an AA kit in BF2 makes the disparity insane for planes vs everything else.

I agree with Tex, when I first used AT, I seriously thought the missile could have locked onto air units... boy was I wrong the first time I tried that in Wake so many months ago. AT should be revamped to be Anti-Vehicle, not just Tank (or transport, whatever) but that they should be able to have the capacity to take out all sorts of things from transport, jets, choppers and tanks, it's not fair, that and jets should be more like support, to help take out any threat of vehicles, or a bombing needed to 'clean' an area of a flag out to be captured safely.

Again with the 'teamwork', the mythical term that seems to happen in seemingly legendary scenarios of games that occur.

Like i said you probably just suck...A the ground as infantry i can get easyly 30-2 or 50-8 maybe you just suck...

I don't care if you think infantry only is for noobs, all I know is that a lot of the time in Wars you don't have a tank or APC or even a helo to back you up - especially when you're only an 8 man team.  I.E. I can understand having armor in a 64 player map, because it's supposed to symbolize an entire Army attacking etc., and therefore you would have these things.  But on 16 player maps 1 tank can turn the tide of war.

As for being too lazy to take AT, I can understand how frustrating it is to take the kit and die trying to take out the tank.  My point is just that most of the time the armor can't see everyone who spawns, so if more than 1 or 2 people decide to spawn as AT to take the tank out, they go down pretty fast - but that's usually never the case, as people are more concerned with revive whoring or trying to kill armor with an RPK because they don't feel like switching classes.

Edit - LOL at an anonymous -1 (go back to CS:S u wussie) - for the matter, I've NEVER played CS:S, nor any shitty CS game, nor any half life game for that matter.  The only other online FPS's I've EVER played were Rainbow Six and America's Army - which is why I enjoy my battle games sans armor - it takes skill to do player versus player.
