Hi Ladies

I have 2x 512mb 3200 ram

Will adding a 1gb 3200 stick with these 2x 512 cause me any problems?

I want to have 2gb altogether.

Probably not, at least I don't see any reason why it would cause problems,
but maybe some one else might see

It depends on your mobo (have a read of the manual) but it will probably be ok. You may also like to make sure that the larger DIMM is in the first socket (move the 512mb out of it in to the third).

*OK how do i know what the 1st socket is and which is the last socket?

*Also will I notice any significant improvements to BF2?

Manual says I can only support 2 ddr400 dimms? does that mean I can only use two sticks of 3200 ram at any one time?

Do you have the four slots for ram? usually if you have four they put them into pairs. Make sure your two 512 are together as a pair, otherwise it will only recognize the gig.  I had to play around with my RAM like this before all of it was recognized and usable.  If it makes it easier, just fill all the slots. Get another gig and pop it in next to the one you have.
