Sorry to blow your bubble, but spawn raping ISN'T going to get you reset. In fact if you read EA's guide on how to play BF 2, they recommend base raping as a legit stategy on how to win a game. You can't get them reset.

Aren't they kind of similar? Stat-padding obviously alters gameplay so you have an unfair advantage over others, but so doesn't spawn-killing?
I personally don't spawnrape, but lets look at it logically. A good justification for spawn raping is that if you are able to be spawn raped, it means there is a heavy enemy presence near your flag. You can't really cry about that, you should spawn at the next closest spawn point and then push back to the flag. From a real world perspective, you being able to spawn there with enemies around doesn't really make sense. I can see how EA would consider spawnraping to be allowed. Now if a group of people intentionally don't grab a flag with the intent of spawn raping, that is abusive.a fly wrote:

If you suck that bad to get spawn raped... Then you kinda deserve it... Anyways if you use teamwork... it's easy to drive em off

i mean: its basicly the same as revive, kill, ect.
only you let the revive part away. knowing where people spawn (i mean spawnrape, not baserape), and then sitting there with your armor shooting them in the back, is basicly abusing game mechanics. you cant talk around that. and it can explain why some people have been "unfairly" reset
its just my opinion, im not planning to waste a few gigs to record some spawnrapers ill just do it back.

hahaha...People really bitch a lot about stuff that they would do if given the chance. I'm not talkin about stat padding but I am talkin about spawn raping. Camping a spawn I agree is lame...but attacking a main base is just what happens when your team won't get off their lazy asses. As far as camping a cappable flag I've noticed that the situation can be difused if someone uses their brain and some teamwork. I always laugh on Sharqui when MEC has the chopper at the tv station and the uber snipers keep spawnin up there....obviously they deserve it.
I think EA should stop sucking so much ass and get rid of the terrible glitches that plague this game rather than worry about stat padding or spawnraping.
I know I'm much more aggravated by some asshole in the hotel on Karkand than 3 friends knife reviving in some corner or some guy in a tank killing me because I'm too lazy to spawn somewhere else (or my team sucks so much ass they can't kill him).
