ok you can use your cannon on ground targets, that works fine for everything but tanks.

about the bomb, its hard to say, instinctivly, I can bomb targets but it comes with practice. For example you can keep your cockpit on your HUD (do not press F9) and drop the bombs so you can hear the last bomb fall when the target has just passed under your cockpit, in the dead angle. (obvioulsy it doesnt work if you press F9 to make it disappear, you wont be able to use it as a guide). Then when you are used to bombing, you can remove it

or you can practice in a LAN game, bombing ground targets and press F11 to see where your bombs hit. Then with a little bit of practice you will know when to drop them

Don't worry about throwing bombs, stick to dive bombing untill you get the hang of it, the steeper the angle the more precision you will have. I dont even look at the circle. Throwing bombs is more advanced. Learning to get them under Kubra Dam takes some practice.

Use your views to look at where you just bombed to adjust your style and to see if you need a second pass with the vulcan.

^ ill give you +1

Cannon fire will rip through most things on the ground, including tanks if you get a long run. If it doesnt kill them by the time your about to pass over drop a bomb to finish him off. Occasionally the driver will hop out and attempt to run before you drop the bombs, but the vulcan canon usualy get him. Make sure you use it behind buildings or anywhere a potential victim may be hiding, just be sure to check your map if FF is turned on.

Maybe Zenmaster will help us out here?

The bullets rebound off the sides of the tank which then will kill soliders standing around the tank.
The best thing i find to do is go really high then point straight down at your target.
Better chance of killing them

Fly reasonable high - 400m or more. Notice target appear, dive quite steeply at it blaring away with your machine guns the whole time. You aim using the tracers from the guns. Don't forget to lead the target slightly if it's moving much. Anything except armoured vehicles should pretty much always due just from the machine guns. Tanks won't explode immediately from one direct bomb hit unless they've already taken some damage, so the machine gun fire helps out by knocking a bar or two off them before you drop it.

Drop the bomb a second or so before you would actually plow into the target face first and pull up hard. If you're a bit too close you'll take splash damage from the bomb when it hits. If you're too far your bomb is more likely to miss 'cos the effect due to gravity will have more time to pervert it's path.

After you do it for a while you can get a feel for how to adjust your bombing runs depending on various obstacles and your approach for each target. Just takes practice once you get the basic method working.

Enjoy.
