BF2S Forums Is It Possible?????

I don't know if it is possible but since patch 1.3 my ping has been really high.Can the patch have effected my ping,it was perfectly fine before 1.3 but it is really really high on all servers since.I know it says something about pings on the  patch 1.3 problems thread but is this possible????????????????????
