btw you can still do the on the fly sensitivity changes w/ the razer. In fact you only have to use one mouse button and the scroll wheel which I like better. For me I have 2 extra useable buttons over my g5. Plus the sensitivity change is much better on the razer. You don't have to pick between preset levels, You scroll from 1 - 10 in .5 increments on the sensitivity.
I just got it.....and it is pretty awesome - takes a little getting used to. Having trouble with the DPI settings though....anything over 400 dpi is WAY to fast for me in normal view....wondering if the sensitivity or pointer speed in my set up is too high...LivelyToaster wrote:

I would check your mouse sensitivity in BF2 under the controls. If that's turned up it might affect the sensitivity. It might also be that you just aren't used to a fast mouse yet. I use the "on-the-fly sensitivity" setting and I usually set my mouse around 5.5 - 6.5 (lower for sniping) and my mouse sensitivity under controls is 1.00. Hope that helps.
OK - set the mouse DPI to 2000, and sensitivity in game movement options to 0.20, and mouse settings in control panel to lowest pointer speed.....that worked - Now I have a normal movement for the 2000 setting (for general playing, running around etc) and much slower movement for zoom sniping (400 dpi). For tanks etc, I jumped the in game sensitiviy up to 2.5-3 which speeds up my turret movement and allows less travel for the mouse to spin all the way around. Still making some final tweaks as it is still "off" from my last mouse....but is working great now....THANKS !LivelyToaster wrote:

No, my point is high DPI allows the mouse to be more sensitive to your movements. I don't mean higher DPI as in moving your mouse faster.SargeJp wrote:
No high DPI isn't better than low DPI or the other. It's pure preference. Normally people who likes to play with low sensitivity plays with low DPI because it works better and people who likes to play with high sensitivity normally uses high DPI.
