Today I was playing BF2, and I just kept dieing and dieing. It was getting to the point where I wanted to just throw my monitor out the window. I just can't seem to get any better at BF2. Sometimes it's like, why even try? I just am not that good. Maybe eventually with enough practice? And always, there never seems to be a good squad, and if there is it's a clan or something and they always end up booting everyone out. Oh well I Guess I'm just haveing the BF2 blues!

Hang in there, no one's really good at bf2. Dice designed it that way so everyone sucks the same. Some people just think they're good.

ya ive had rounds where i'm not even good enough for a purple heart. i just quit for a while then
One can only improve by playing against better opponents.
That applies to most games. You find yourself mimicking their style of play and you get better without realising it. When I started playing Quake 2, it was at LAN parties against my buddies. We had week long frag-fests. I got sick and tired of getting owned. Then when I finally got a phone line and a 'net connection, I went online to find that actually I was pretty awesome. My mates still used to kick my ass at the game, but there you go.

don't worry about it too hard, if you do you'll just stop having fun. Don't matter if you're good or not, you paid your $50 to have fun

I had one of those nights yesterday - it just seems like everything you do ends up with a 15-second pause to reflect on how much you are getting owned... then you get on a little hot streak and forget all about it.
i used to get pissed everytime i played the game, but now i just don't care about stats... i just play to win and most of all, i play for fun, thats why i'm able to write this post right now... if i was playing for stats, i'd burn my PC loooooong ago...
Like Poet said...play against better players and you'll get better. Get involved with a clan that is competitive and you won't have to be bothered with all the noobs who run into the glowing tracers because they think it's a Popsicle surprise. You'll start out getting your a$$ handed to you...but you'll get in a pub one day against some guys and you'll be good all the sudden

Infact, don't worry about agreeing, 'cos I think its correct. So, once you start enjoying the game again you will notice you are good at it.

everytime you die just blame it on something else. for example, nice lag kill, or nice type kill, or nice reload kill. i like to use these alot to make the person who killed me know that it wont happen again.
Play CS:S, You'll most likely suck at it, but CS:S improves your accuracy and aim speed in BF2
