Those are your parts, learing to OC is now up to you... For that $ with those parts you will be running with all your friends that just dropped $2500 to $4000 for a new computer. 
Buy the chip from monarchcomptuer, not newegg.

OP: I'm going to refer you to an old ~USD$1000 post of mine, which I think is still applicable, though likely a bit cheaper today. This system will slice through Battlefield 2 demands like a knife through butter. It will be able to run Windows Vista, when that OS comes out (if you don't mind the DRM controversy) and be perfectly upgradable to a DirectX 10 video card when those are released. Sometime around this fall, according to The Inquirer.

If you would rather go with an overclocking route, you can save a bit of money with an AMD Opteron build. You can find those peppered all over the internet.
