A new glitche or new to me....

in the menu when you join a server the info on it such as the ip disappear......wtf. And in the game if you click server info its gone too. THis may not sound as a big deal but when you play with friends it is.

anyone more random glitches to add?

This happens to me all the time. The server info disappers randomly. Sometimes its the name, the ip, tk - ticket ratio - that stuff, or the server graphic.

Wanna hear something great? I had just come home form a VERY long day and i sat down on my comp to play some good ole bf2 with the clan. Well, i join the map they're in and start playing. 5 min later *CRASH TO DESKTOP* so i rejoin. this time though, i crashed as i hit the join button. Then i restarted the whole comp and joined again. Crashed about ehhh 2-3 min in. So i found anohter server all by my poor self. PLay for about 20 min crash. Basically you get the picture. IT CRASHED 6 FREAKING TIMES THAT NIGHT, 6!!!!!!! I went to bed in a bad mood to say the least.

One fucking person finally got it right...

DICE MAKES THE GAME, NOT EA, EA LITERALLY MAKES THE GAME AND PUTS IT ONTO DISCS, ALL THE CONTENT IS MADE BY DIGITAL ILLUSIONS CE, NOT EA!

Anyways, they do joint shit like this so DICE gets minimal hate mail and EA gets alot

And I do agree the patches dont fix anything.

happens to me all the time ESPECIALLY SPECIAL forces it crashed 6 times in a row right when i click join.Right after that i discovered a new type of crash I WAS AT THE MENU picking a server double click one and it crashed..........so i said screw SF and tryed bf2 and woulda ya know it crashed 2 more times!

Very true, but also bear in mind that EA are notorious for putting their developers under the thumb. If you've ever worked in software, you'll know how the Marketing Department (in this case EA) can fuck up your genius piece of code with a simple demand. Sure, DICE may have been the ones to code in the Cartillery, but you can bet your ass it was EA's choice to have it implemented.

I say this purely to even the balance between the views people have of EA/DICE.
Personally, I don't much like the new patch, but it hasn't stopped me playing, and I'm grateful up to a point that they made BF2 at all. After that, the £30 I spent on the game is the substitute for my actually giving a shit about the developers.

So far, I've gotten what I paid for.
