If by ninjas you mean Marines, then yes. They are doing a bang-up job making the world a safer place.

So, lets review shall we? Bomb falls on safe house. He is injured. Marnies recover him from rubble. He is dead within 60 minutes of the bombing. Marines FTW, they did a good job at bringing a known terrorist to justice.

A different point of view you have. But consider this, What harm can a dead man do to captured people? What harm can a little boost in morale do? NONE! It is better for the armed forces that an important leader for terrorists across Iraq is finally gone.Janysc wrote:

Agreed - his death makes him a "martyr" in the eyes of his twisted cohort.
It would have been MUCH better to embarass him each and every remaining day of his pathetic life.
For example, dress him up like a transvestite (makeup and all), have him live with pigs (unclean to Muslims) and watch loud gay pornography all day. If he complains, have female guards rough him up.

But it ruins their image everywhere else in the world. Instead of saving a dying man and giving him a fair trial like Saddam, the marines beat him to death, and people like me don't exactly appreciate them more because of it. You give the terrorists who's still around yet more reasons to decapitate civilians and blow up thirty marines per day in various raids. Martyrism shouldn't be underestimated.BigmacK192 wrote:

The marines did not beat Zarqawi to death. It is amazing what the liberal media will spew out as fact. Anything to make out troops look bad. It was a lone Iraqi citizen that reported that the Marines beat Zarqawi.
Two bombs were droped and the Iraqi security forces were the first on the scene and then the American Army showed up. What in the picture makes you think that he was beaten. Does any of you know what a 500 pounder would do to a person. I only regret that he was not beaten to death or beheaded.
