Get yourself a 7800GS if you want the best (IMHO) AGP vid card. It's kind of expensive, but mine will run BF2 on all high settings with AAx2.
There is no way a 6600GT will run at 90FPS at high settings. Maybe 90 peak FPS, but not 90 average. run fraps benchingmarking for an hour in a 64 player server, and your average will be in the low 40s.

Get a x1600pro 256MB, works great if you haven't got that mutch money.

Those are far worse counter-parts.
^^plus most cards will be different makes (eg. pny ,asus,club, ect )but same nvidia chip i had a pny 6600 256 and it was shit only got low to medium with a shit load of lag then i got a n6600 256 (all i could afford at the time) but it way out performs i get mostly high with no lag
