desert eagle is actually a bad gun. It's too big to use effectively. I have big hands and it's almost too big for me.

Just a note from an owner of a IA Desert Eagle .50. It is not a 'useless gun" It is big, very big and cumbersome, yet it is very accurate at the same time.
pros = Stopping power, intimidation, accurate, looks bad ass.
cons = weight, recoil, reliability under stress.
My pick would be a 1911 or sig saur I am fast becoming a fan of the new Springfield lines XD something-somethings.
Side note: it's a lovely power trip to pull it out @ the 25yrd. range. every1 without ears firing there .22s runs for cover.
And the flare is the coolest. I have fired many guns and never have i seen such a big flame come out of a hand held gun.
