Well, I think most tks are from people who want a certain vehicle so, my idea... make all vehicles except transport and boats spawn points. That way, if you want a tank you have to spawn in it. I know it sounds stupid but people spend a whole round camping their own base trying to get said vehicle.
If you chose to spawn in tank, you wait for the other person to die and for the tank to respawn.
Of course it would still have to allow you to steal the other teams vehicles... otherwise game would be no fun.
Just an idea folks. I can see the flaws in it but tks would no longer exist because you'd already be dead!!!

I would turn team killing off to the extent where if you hit ur own guy or his vehicle you still loose points for it but it dosent affect their health or their vehicles health. Forgive me if this has been posted but Im not intrested in others opinions on this so it might of been said before.
timed c4s would be great just like they have on the video clip of special forces

Friendly C4, SRAW/ERYX, tank shells and M95 don't do damage to friendly jets and chopper. And no1 could TK on runway.

But I think the best way is punishes enabled constant, but instead of getting even less score from being punished, it just makes you elegable for a kick, eg: 5 punishes you get autokicked.

use a invisible "cone" shield to shove ppl to the sides of the vehicle

Or remove the ability for a friendly M95 to shoot though friendly cockpit glass. Im sure that would solve alot.
Im all for pimp slapping. Then DICE could give us a new badge. Basic/Veterain/Expert Pimp Slap Combat Badge.
best way to stop teamkilling, reverse the damage, for example if they shoot you it also takes the health away from them as it did from you.

Well to solve the biggest problem - running out in front of the airplane if someone took it = just count it as a suicide. How the hell driving/running/walking in front of a plane NOT suicide?
Tk'ing for vehicles = make them take considerably less damage from friendly fire than regular. Like it would take three shots to effectively wound a 35B. I know thats not realistic but you tell me where in the world do you see people teamkilling for an actual plane?
Biggest problem is teamkilling for vehicles, cause everyone feels mighty big when theyre in one. Ive almost teamkilled for a vehicle, mostly because he took it and drove off and I wanted to ride in it but it was an APC...
But I like my idea because it was mine.

The last time I teamkilled on purpose was just the other night. I was on Karkand across from the hotel and I jumped on the mounted MG. The US were rushing the hotel and there were targets everywhere. Then this dipshit decides to fuck with me and he stands right in front of the MG no matter where I point it.
I capped his ass after half a minute of that shit. In my opinion, there are times when a TK is well deserved. Sorry, but there is a time and a place for teamkills.

Well we decided to turn FF OFF on our Wake server and it has helped immensly. We still get the occasional tk's by C4 or AT rockets but not as many as we had before, it's strange that Colin from DICE even said the J-10 was powerful and they aren't going to do anything about it still. I think what would end all tk's is FF OFF and nothing freindly can destroy your vehicle...
Our server went from and avg of 12 tk's a round to 3 tk's a round.. we haven't had to warn/kick/ban someone in awhile now... it makes the admins job easier...

no problem, the idea is covered with 2A/2B. if you for example shot a sraw at a friendly jeep surrounded by 3 enemies, you would probably kill the 3, but not destroy the jeep... not the perfect way i think, could be abused a lot...Hacial wrote:

RUNWAY BLOCKING...esp with the cartillery landing on jets and in front of them...

My solution for stopping forced TK's on runways and helipads is to make an invisible boundary where if a Tk is forced by the pilot of a jet or chopper (not others so it can't be abused) then the game recognizes it was forced and wwill not recognize a TK. Also M95'ing friendly vehicles doesn't work.
