just curious, i have bf2 disk amd i was wondering if i could save the game to my hard-drive so i dont need the disk. is this possible??

If u have 2 Cd/dvd drives, do what i do, leave bf2 in the top 1 then put what ever u need in the 2nd one, when ever u need to, if you dont have 2 then sorry i really cant help.
You need a program like Alcohol120% or Nero to make an exact image(intentional errors included) of the BF2 Install Disk 1.
Then, you will need to either load itr inot a virtual drive, or burn it to a disk(which would defeat the purpose if you were doing this for legal reasons)

Thats what I do. I don't think you can copy the disc to your hard drive but I could be wrong.rustynutz wrote:

Haven't tried it yet, but...
You should be able to save an exact copy to your hard drive using Nero or some other burning program. Needs to be in .ISO format. You then need Daemon tools. It is a virtual drive program. Makes your computer think it has another CD drive. You can leave the program running with the BF2 ISO file mounted. Should work.

roger that, use alcohol 120% or daemon tools to mount the image. google them.
if your gonna use alcohol or daemon tools then just download the short disc for it instead of havin the entire cd on ur HD. It has every thing that the game checks and nothing that it doesnt, once again use google.
