Server search parameter was bogus?

yo! Last night I was playing a few rounds on the BF2-TOW server, and what I thought was to be ranked (since I always have 'Ranked' checkmarked when I do a server search), turned out to not be ranked. Has this happened to anybody before?

I had a few nice rounds too ;(

I posted on their forums to see if I might be going crazy or something, but I never touch my search parameters once they've been set.

Nope never happened to me. Maybe it got unchecked by accident? How do you know it isn't ranked?

Unless there is a huge delay in stat updates somewhere, then it was unranked. As you can see on my stats page, I did play yesterday for about 2.5 hours or so. I had some really great rounds too I'm 100% sure 'ranked' was check marked when I searched for available servers.

The stats server was messed up for me the other day, and you might have to give it more than a day. If it hasn't updated by tommorrow, then I don't know what's going on. Did you ask if the server was ranked or unranked on their forums? If so, what was their answer?

I have asked, just waiting for a response. I know that the clan has 3 servers, 2 of which are 52 man servers, 1 of those 52 man is ranked, the other unranked (obviously). I just hope that it is taking more than a day to update....

scratch that, he just replied and said "our server is a private ranked, not an official ranked". Me being the newb I am, I had no idea there was a difference and that it would show up in the server list under 'ranked'...

Oh, well, I guess that answers your question. Sucks that you don't get your scores. If I'm not sure, I usually ask once I get in the server.
